The Role

We’re looking for a Keyholder to join our Westgate team. This is a trusted leadership role that blends hands-on customer service with additional responsibility for the smooth running of the store. You’ll lead shifts, coach others, and ensure every customer has an Every Day Great Experience (EDGE).

The shift available is as follows:

(34 hours per week)

  • Tuesday (10:00 - 16:30)
  • Wednesday (10:00 - 17:15)
  • Thursday (10:00 - 16:30)
  • Friday (09:00 - 17:15)
  • Saturday (10:00 - 18:00)

What You’ll Deliver in This Role

  • Customer Experience & SalesYou’ll deliver exceptional customer service every shift, greeting and assisting customers, resolving queries, and promoting add-on sales. You’ll also role model great service for the team, coaching and supporting in the moment as needed.
  • Store Operations & StandardsYou’ll be responsible for opening and closing the store, maintaining security, and ensuring the store is clean, well-presented, and safe. This includes merchandising, stock presentation, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Leadership & Shift ManagementYou’ll lead shifts on the floor, allocating tasks, managing breaks, supporting decision-making, and helping the team achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Team Development & SupportYou’ll coach Sales Assistants, support new team members, embed best practices, recognise great performance, and escalate any concerns to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Problem Solving & Issue ResolutionYou’ll handle customer escalations and operational challenges, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • At least one year of retail or customer-facing experience
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and support others
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with the ability to take ownership of store operations
