 Why You’ll Love This Role:

As Inbound Supervisor at our Distribution Centre in Hastings, you’ll be right in the action, leading our inbound and reverse logistics team to keep product moving safely, accurately, and on time. You’ll be the calm, decisive presence that sets priorities, coaches the team, and drives operational excellence.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership you’ll see the impact of your decisions every day, while working with a supportive team and contributing to the success of our dynamic retail brands.

Location: Distribution Centre, Hastings area
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

What You’ll Do

• Lead & engage your team: Coach, mentor, provide feedback, celebrate wins, manage performance reviews, support recruitment, and foster a high-performing culture.
• Drive operational excellence: Oversee inbound and reverse logistics, allocate work, set daily plans, and ensure safe, accurate, and timely processing of stock.
• Health, safety & compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, maintain hygiene and security, ensure MPI compliance, and follow all legal and operational procedures.
• Manage container movement & devanning: Work with freight and transport partners to optimise container flow and productivity.
• Ensure stock accuracy & put-away efficiency: Oversee receipting, investigate discrepancies, and maintain optimal storage and pick-face locations.
• Labour & payroll oversight: Plan and allocate labour efficiently, manage payroll tasks, and maintain cost control.
• KPI & financial accountability: Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and cost per unit; implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service.
• Continuous improvement: Lead CI initiatives and support peak planning to ensure processes remain efficient and effective.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Proven leadership experience, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, systems, and best practice
• Ability to lead teams safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Confidence with reporting, computer systems, and stakeholder communication
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• People leadership skills: coaching, performance management, engagement, and accountability
• Knowledge of MPI compliance and processes
• A continuous improvement mindset

Desirable:

• Forklift licence
• Experience with ERP or WMS systems
• Inbound and reverse logistics management experience
• Container management experience
